Chief Engineer

We have been retained by an International Client that are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer for their establishment based in Riyadh.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management of all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel while keeping abreast of statutory regulations and compliance procedures.

We are looking for someone that has high energy and a great personality.

Responsibilities include, not limited to:

• Lead the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the property
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for the property
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations
• Financial management and reporting – prepare and set budgets for engineering
• Perform daily routine checks around the property and attend to any maintenance issues of the property, whether internal or external
• Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs.
• Develop, implement, and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.
• Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively.
• Staff management – incudes all management of staff, training and developing, recruiting, performance management, etc

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering
• A degree in Engineering or similar
• Exposure to budgeting and basic accounting
• Committed to delivering an elevated level of customer service.
• Strong leadership skills and earlier experience of managing a team
• First aid certification and procedures
