Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming catering goods and supplies against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, issuance, and receipts using inventory management systems.
Ensure all stored items are properly labeled, dated, and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor stock expiry dates and ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) methods are consistently followed.
Coordinate with purchasing and kitchen departments to manage inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area at all times.
Prepare and submit regular stock and consumption reports.
Handle daily requisitions from various kitchen and catering departments.
Participate in stock audits and inventory counts as required by the management.
Ensure secure storage of all items to prevent loss, theft, or damage.
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
Formal training or certification in Inventory Management or Store keeping is a plus.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in catering or hospitality industry within the GCC.
Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures in a catering or kitchen environment.
Good understanding of food safety regulations and hygienic storage practices.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or inventory software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling store-related physical tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately.
