Business intelligence (MicroStrategy)

Position Overview:
Masterworks is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist with expertise in MicroStrategy to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive our business strategies. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll design, implement, and manage BI solutions that empower decision-making across the organization.

• BI Solution Development:
  • Lead the development and deployment of BI dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create tailored metrics and visualizations that align with business objectives.
• Data Analytics and Insights:
  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic initiatives.
  • Build robust data models to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating requirements into actionable BI solutions.
  • Train and support stakeholders in using BI tools effectively.
• System Optimization and Maintenance:
  • Monitor the performance of MicroStrategy applications and implement optimizations for scalability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the reliability of BI systems.
• Data Governance and Compliance:
  • Enforce data governance standards and ensure the security of sensitive information.
  • Implement access controls and security protocols within the MicroStrategy environment.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Proven expertise in MicroStrategy, including architecture, development, and administration.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
