As a Business Development Manager you will be playing a key role in driving the growth of our firm by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company. As an ideal candidate you shall have a proven track record in business development within the engineering consultancy industry, with a strong focus on Giga and Mega projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Business Growth Strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies to identify and capture new project opportunities, especially within Giga and Mega projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new markets, and client needs to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
  • Proposal Development: Oversee and contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and bids for new projects.
  • Networking and Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the firm’s services and build brand awareness.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with engineering, project management, and technical teams to ensure alignment between business development initiatives and project execution.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development within the engineering consulting industry.
  • Proven experience in securing Giga and Mega projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering consultancy services and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:


  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience working in the Saudi Arabia or similar markets.
  • Knowledge of large-scale infrastructure projects.
