Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Business Continuity Expert (CBCI). ISO 22301 certification in crisis management and disaster recovery is preferred.Experience: 2 to 7 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, or IT services and systems. Practical experience in risk analysis, business continuity planning, and implementation. Experience working in diverse environments to enhance risk analysis skills.Certification Required: CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) CBCI (Certified Business Continuity Expert) ISO 22301 Lead Implementer (preferred)Job Description:The Business Continuity Expert is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and crisis management plans. This role ensures the organization’s resilience by identifying risks, protecting IT infrastructure, and leading teams during emergencies. The expert will conduct drills, train employees, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Detailed Responsibilities:Plan Development and Implementation: Create and update emergency preparedness and business continuity plans based on risk assessments and business needs. Develop and implement disaster recovery and mitigation strategies to minimize financial losses and operational impact.Risk Assessment and Management: Identify and analyze potential risks affecting infrastructure services and systems. Use risk analysis and impact assessment tools to evaluate and mitigate potential disruptions.Technical Understanding: Ensure a thorough understanding of IT infrastructure and data protection mechanisms. Support the protection of sensitive data and digital assets in line with security and identity verification requirements.Drills and Simulations: Organize and conduct regular drills and simulations to test emergency responses and the effectiveness of continuity plans. Evaluate test results and update plans accordingly.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to business continuity. Maintain organized, easily accessible, and regularly updated files and plans for crisis management.Communication and Leadership: Clearly communicate continuity plans to all levels of employees, management, and external parties. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful plan implementation during crises.Training and Evaluation: Train employees on business continuity procedures and guide them during crises. Continuously evaluate and improve business continuity plans based on performance feedback and emerging risks.Main Competencies: Technical Proficiency: Understanding IT infrastructure, data protection, and recovery strategies.
