As a Bid/Tender Manager, you will oversee the process of securing contracts through competitive bidding. At this management level, you’ll manage small to mid-size bids independently from start to finish, while also contributing support to larger-scale bids.Key AccountabilitiesThe position involves:Lead the entire bidding process, from opportunity assessment to drafting SQs/RFIs, tender submissions, and pitch presentations.Participate in solution architecture for tenders and allocate FM team resources as needed to develop competitive solutions.Collect and analyze feedback from bids and tenders to drive continuous improvement.Maintain and update the bid content library, including CVs, case studies, policies, social value details, and client service delivery information.Monitor relevant hubs and portals to track and identify tender opportunities.Manage and train stakeholders or support teams in the tender process, depending on team structure.Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are Looking for: Degree-level education required.At least 5 years of experience in a similar role managing commercial and contract aspects of large projects or organizations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent multitasking, project management, time management, and organizational skills.Proficient in MS Office.Demonstrated ability to lead complex bids, especially in the FM sector.In-depth business knowledge.Strong bid writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Excellent communication and project management capabilities.Strong negotiation skills.High attention to detail and understanding of agreements.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
