Key Responsibilities:
1.Facilitate the implementation of the Advanced Work Packaging methodology by providing guidance and support to Subcontractors' Work Face Planners (WFP).
2.Collaborate with Subcontractors' Work Face Planners (WFP) to ensure the development of comprehensive Installation Work Packages (IWP) that clearly define the scope, deliverables, schedule, and required resources for each construction phase. Ensure IWPs align with the project's overall objectives, schedule, and sequencing
3.Collaborate with Subcontractors' WFPs to ensure dependencies, constraints, and sequencing requirements are carefully considered to create an optimized and realistic construction timeline.
4.Foster effective communication and coordination among the Subcontractors' WFPs to ensure collaborative work and planning requirements align to avoid conflicts or delays. Facilitate regular meetings or workshops to address any issues or conflicts.
5.Establish performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of Subcontractors' WFPs in implementing AWP.
6.Identify training needs and provide the necessary support, training, and guidance to Subcontractors' WFPs to enhance their understanding of AWP concepts and methodologies
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
·Proven experience in construction management roles, with specific experience in AWP methodology and workface planning technique.
·Strong understanding of construction principles including Path of Construction and constructability.
·Familiarity with concept stipulated in RT 272 and RT 319 by CII (construction Industry Institute)
·Hands on knowledge of Workface planning tool such O3 Solution, Constructsim or Smart construction etc.
·Familiarity with Earn Value management concept.
·Understanding of digital landscape which is used on Capital Projects
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
·Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying solutions and overcoming construction challenges.
·Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
