AutoCAD Draftsman and Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Draftsman/Technician with extensive experience in infrastructure design to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience in drafting and technical support, with expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Civil 3D, and familiarity with GIS tools. A strong background in stormwater projects, including drainage systems, flood control structures, and related infrastructure, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting and Design Support:

• Develop and prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for stormwater and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Produce drainage system designs, culverts, retention/detention basins, and flood mitigation structures.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, compliant with design standards, and align with project specifications.

1. BIM and Revit Modeling:

• Create and manage BIM models for stormwater and infrastructure components, ensuring coordination with other disciplines.
• Integrate hydraulic and hydrologic analysis results into project designs and models.
• Perform clash detection and resolve model inconsistencies.

1. GIS-Integration:

• Utilize GIS datasets for stormwater catchment analysis and floodplain mapping.
• Prepare maps and geospatial representations to support project planning and stormwater management.
• Incorporate GIS data into Civil 3D and Revit models as needed.

1. Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with stormwater and civil engineers to translate design concepts into detailed plans and models.
• Participate in project meetings to review progress and resolve design issues.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate implementation of stormwater designs on-site.

1. Quality Assurance and Standards Compliance:

• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with local and international design codes, particularly those related to stormwater management.
• Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to maintain high levels of accuracy in drawings and models.
