Together, these schools provide internationally recognised programmes and high-quality education to over 25,000 students globally. The group also runs enrichment programmes and cutting-edge ed-tech programmes to scale the provision of high-quality education in pre-schools. In 2025 they will be opening a brand new pre-school in Saudi Arabia.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned pre-school and working closely with the Pedagogy Team, this position will be responsible for delivering art programs (not limited to visual art, performing art, engineering and science) to provide experiences and provocations for children and responsible for the Atelier in the assigned pre-schools.

• Responsible for the operation of the Atelier in the assigned pre-schools
• Support children's creativity and learning through working directly with children alongside teachers in rooms and specifically in the Atelier, to provide experiences and provocations for the children and to observe and document the learning process in detail.
• Provide a stimulating environment for children and staff to work on long-term projects and provide a wide range of "intelligent" materials giving children the opportunity to express themselves through as many "languages" as possible.
• Ensure that there is a broad range of creative experiences available for the children at all times to encourage ideas, exploration and questions and develop their ability to express themselves in as many ways as possible.
• Explore deep connections between the children's current inquiries and thinking and facilitate opportunities for children to express their understanding through the symbolic languages
• Produce display documentation, booklets and films on projects and learning experiences that happen in the pre-schools.
• Develop teaching staff' awareness of working with children to encourage their learning through creative expression, individually, and as part of a group.
• Provide in-house training on the Reggio Emilia approach, in collaboration with
• consultants.
• Create an aesthetic environment in the ateliers and influence the aesthetic environment in the pre-schools.
• Maintain specialist equipment and materials
• Participate and support planning for school events, attend parent's evenings, and professional development.
• Contribute to newsletters, communication application, workshops and support
• planning/Inquiries alongside the teachers sharing meaningful inquiries and projects within the school community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Diploma in Arts; or A Bachelor Degree in Arts with an Early Childhood Teaching certificate
• Have between 2 to 5 years of relevant professional teaching experience, preferably in a pre-school environment.
• Have relevant experience in teaching art related subjects such as visual arts and/or performing arts.
• Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry-based learning is required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: SR 10,000 - 15,000 per month
Accommodation: Shared accommodation (2 teachers per apartment unit) in an expatriate residential complex; alternatively, a housing allowance can be discussed.
Gratuity: 1 month's salary for every contractual year completed upon fulfilling the full contract term.
