Assist in the planning monitoring auditing and inspection of environmental healthrelated programs
Assist in writing reviewing and renewing policies and procedures that impact environmental health at JHAH as well as reviewing construction proposals and implementation requirements
Support in conducting Environmental Prequalification Surveys and provides technical advice and consultations on environmental health programs and activities
Engage in responding to and investigating environmental nuisances and helps develop and coordinate training programs related to environmental health
Support the team leader to inspect and evaluate the physical conditions of hospital facilities ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Initiates necessary maintenance repairs and ensures that all areas including landscaping are inspected according to Quality Assurance guidelines
Reviews facility requests and coordinates logistics for gate access material passes and security permissions for contractors
Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Sciences from an accredited university.
Professional Certifications Required Food safety certificate (level 3), and/or environmental management certification is preferred.
Years of Experience Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Environmental Health
