The project:
This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

Drives best practice procurement and supply chain solutions, responsible for managing a team(s) to deliver key outcomes and contribute to strategic development. Provides leadership and direction through subordinate managers.
Generate leads and proactively wins work. Oversees the management of team and utilisation of team members.
Ensures compliance against key principles of ethical procurement practices, service excellence and industry best practice.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Partners with key senior internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration to engage and integrate supply chain.
• Captures innovation and industry best practice and actively promotes the highest Health, Safety and Wellbeing and quality standards.
• Manages, influences and negotiates with key senior stakeholders (up to c-suite).
• Provides expert technical advice and guidance to bid strategy development, directs negotiations and drives the tender process and evaluation of tenders.
• Drives supply chain performance management including market intelligence, market shaping and supply chain resilience.
• Executes commercial management of contractual agreements if required and provides client advisory services on procurement and supply chain process and policies.
• Delivers continuous improvements in processes through application of best practices and lessons learned. Drives transformational change.
• Provides leadership and direction through teams/managers.
• Manages a large team/s of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to achieve success and KPIs, including a continuous improvement culture.
• Provides performance management, technical and career development and coaching.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
• Relevant degree qualification.
• MCIPS qualification. Professional membership or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
You’ll also have:
• Good knowledge of contract law and an ability to support on contract and commercial aspects.
• Good understanding of prevailing market conditions and how to align strategies against industry trends.
• Proven experience of delivering package procurements and supply chain management on past projects and managing senior professionals.
• Understand most common forms of contract within the construction industry and major projects and programme environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
