Assistant Manager - Configuration Management Database ( COR 202 )

Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In this critical role, you will support the implementation and management of our configuration management processes, ensuring that all IT assets and their relationships are accurately recorded and maintained within the CMDB to optimize service management and operational efficiency.

• Assist the Operation Excellence Sr. Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Configuration Management team, ensuring that the CMDB is accurately maintained and updated.

• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, define CMDB processes and procedures, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of CMDB policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with ITIL framework and organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with IT teams to identify and reconcile discrepancies between the CMDB and the actual IT environment, and implement measures to improve data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in the design and implementation of automated discovery and reconciliation processes to streamline CMDB maintenance and updates.
• Assist in the planning and execution of CMDB audits and assessments, and develop action plans to address any identified issues or gaps.
• Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on CMDB usage, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in configuration management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
