Assistant Manager - Configuration Management Database

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of transforming the leisure and entertainment landscape of Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a talented and proactive individual to assume the role of Assistant Manager - Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database, ensuring that all configuration items are accurately tracked and managed throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with various IT teams to implement processes and practices that uphold the integrity of the CMDB, providing essential data for decision-making and resource management.

Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing our IT asset management and service delivery capabilities.

• Assist the Operation Excellence Sr. Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Configuration Management team, ensuring that the CMDB is accurately maintained and updated.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, define CMDB processes and procedures, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of CMDB policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with ITIL framework and organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with IT teams to identify and reconcile discrepancies between the CMDB and the actual IT environment, and implement measures to improve data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in the design and implementation of automated discovery and reconciliation processes to streamline CMDB maintenance and updates.
• Assist in the planning and execution of CMDB audits and assessments, and develop action plans to address any identified issues or gaps.
• Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on CMDB usage, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in configuration management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
