About the location:

AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. Marking a new chapter for comprehensive wellness tourism, Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay will feature 220 keys comprising of rooms and suites, as well as villas with their own private pools, and 26 branded residential villas, all thoughtfully designed to offer breathtaking bay and sea views. The resort will include a luxury spa nestled within its garden of tranquility and inspiration featuring a sculptured waterfall. The Organic Spa Garden will be a focal point and treatment experience set to stimulate the senses, offering extensive therapeutic remedies including halotherapy, cryotherapy, and advanced skin therapies. For fitness enthusiasts, the property will offer a bespoke collaboration with fitness trainer Harley Pasternak to seamlessly merge high-performance training with the limitless potential of Triple Bay’s 300 hectares (741 acres) of untouched hills, wadis, and beaches. About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-orientedAssistant Director of Finance to join our team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the property, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
What You Will Do

• Assist in overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Managing the finance operations related to cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Handle external audit requirements and implement internal controls as per Four Seasons policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to improve profitability.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
• Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations and local Tax regulations.
• Ensure that reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts are prepared every month.
• Able to work under pressure and handle a remote accounting service operation.

What You Bring

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and current Edition of USALI.
• Excellent understanding of the Month-End Process including, but not limited to, preparation of financial statements, accruals, and journal entries, maintaining reconciliations for all balance sheets.
  
• Highest level of integrity and transparency
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams; negotiate for resources and influence stakeholders and gain acceptance of and commitment to plans, ideas, initiatives, etc
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, and effective presentations and to facilitate meetings
• Serve as a role model for others by demonstrating appropriate business conduct and ethical principles
• Proficiency in financial software and systems; Focus, Sun, Opera, Micros, Birchstreet, and Bayan is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Great understanding of Self-Esteem and Self-Actualization of Team and ensuring proper support and help are provided whenever needed
  
• Have the ability to supervise the day-to-day duties of the Finance team and assist as necessary.
• Supervise, train, and motivate department staff to thoroughly understand all of their duties and responsibilities.
