Job Summary: 

Organizing and managing the day to day functions of the Air freight operations, to meet the needs of the Company’s customers and provide high rate of return. Effective coordination and execution of airfreight operations and pricing in line with the BDP standard procedure.

Essential Functions: 


Pricing


•Airfreight rate negotiation with airline , GSA , etc
•Preparing quotation to the client including freight and insurance (if required) and follow-up
•Monitor and data maintenance of quotations and win-loss ratio
•Keep track record for airline contract rates (validity/expiry)
•Maintain healthy relation with Carrier , GSA , partners .

Operation


•Execution of customs clearance in accordance with KSA customs rules and regulations including customs inspection.
•Coordinating with customer and dispatch team for cargo pickup .
•Ensure cargo proper packing & labeling according with carrier , commodity & destination requirement
•On time creation of Job Costing Sheet once full delivery is done to finance for invoicing
•Alert and update the shipment details on BDP system

Customer Service


•Ensure on time update of cargo status to customer
•Understand customer’s requirement and instruction ( i.e DTC , DTD , description of goods etc
•Inform customer with the export clearance requirements prior to cargo pickup .
•On time invoicing of customer,48 hours after cargo delivery .


Requirements: 


  • 1. One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a customer service type environment preferred. 
  • ∙+3 years experience in airfreight Export operations with knowledge in E-mirsal ,Calogi system , KSA customs procedure , ground handling agent & carrier communication .
  • College/University graduate
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications, MS Excel expertise .
  • 4. Must be able to work in a fast paced office. 
  • 5. Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills required.  
  • 6. Candidate must possess a strong team work attitude. 
  • 7. Leadership experience is a strongly desired. 
  • 8. Candidate must be PC literate with MS Office applications.
