Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Principal Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Principal Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The AMI Principal Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced metering solutions to enhance the efficiency of utilities in managing and monitoring energy consumption.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of AMI technologies, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including utility companies and engineering teams.

• Lead the design and implementation of AMI projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Work closely with utility stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the successful deployment of AMI solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for AMI implementations.
• Oversee the integration of smart meters and associated technologies into existing utility systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and functionality of AMI systems.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to project specifications.
• Stay current with evolving AMI technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops for utility staff on AMI operations and management.
