The Accounting position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Construction and Building industry, is a pivotal role that ensures the financial health and compliance of the organization. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring that all financial practices align with local regulations and international standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial decision-making process and ensuring that the company’s financial operations run smoothly.Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with local regulations.Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.Collaborate with project managers to analyze project costs and profitability.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation.Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures.Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and analyses.Preferred Candidate:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations.Experience in the construction industry is a plus.Strong organizational and time management skills.
