Role Overview:
As an Account Manager at Omniful, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing the commercial relationships with our existing clients. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth through collections, upselling, and cross-selling Omniful’s solutions. This role is vital to ensuring client satisfaction, optimizing value realization, and maximizing expansion opportunities within the customer base. Working closely with the Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams, you will ensure clients continue to see the value in Omniful’s offerings and choose to grow their partnership with us.
Key Responsibilities:
● Commercial Relationship Management:
○ Manage the commercial relationship with assigned clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all commercial matters, including billing, renewals, and contract negotiations.
○ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations to drive revenue growth and ensure client satisfaction.
● Revenue Expansion:
○ Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities by understanding client needs and aligning additional Omniful products and solutions to their business goals.
○ Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to create tailored offerings and proposals that maximize value for the client and drive expansion revenue.
○ Proactively engage clients to assess their satisfaction and potential needs, presenting relevant upgrades and enhancements that support their growth and operational efficiency.
● Collections and Contract Management:
○ Manage and oversee collections for assigned clients, ensuring timely payment of invoices and addressing any billing issues or disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
○ Negotiate contract renewals and terms, working closely with the Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and client agreements.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration:
○ Work with the Customer Success team to gain insights into client usage and adoption, using this data to inform commercial strategies and identify additional revenue opportunities.
○ Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to stay informed about product updates, new features, and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to engage clients and showcase Omniful’s ongoing value.
○ Provide feedback to Product and Sales teams regarding client needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to enhance Omniful’s offerings and go-to-market strategies.
● Data Analysis and Reporting:
○ Track and analyze client performance metrics, including revenue growth, churn risk, and product usage, to identify areas for improvement and inform engagement strategies.
○ Prepare regular reports on client revenue, collections status, upselling/cross-selling performance, and other key metrics for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
● Experience: 3-5+ years in account management, sales, or a related role with a strong emphasis on managing commercial relationships and driving revenue growth.
● Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully upselling and cross-selling products/services and managing contract negotiations.
● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trust-based relationships.
● Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of collections processes, revenue forecasting, and managing financial aspects of client relationships.
● Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure cohesive client engagement.
