Account Director – Oil and Gas

Leading Global Technology Provider would like to appoint an Account Director to drive business within the Oil & Gas sector in KSA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales professional to take a lead role in shaping and executing digital transformation strategies in a high-growth sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the acquisition and delivery of Cloud and Data projects across Saudi Arabia, with a focus on driving success within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Forge strong relationships with leading cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud, while staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Partner with key account managers to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, providing strategic guidance to ensure effective decision-making.
• Work closely with internal teams to estimate project delivery efforts and support seamless execution alongside Customer Success Managers (CSMs).
• Support and mentor local sales teams, helping them develop high-quality technical proposals to win key business deals.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong technical background across Cloud, Data, and AI ecosystems, with an ability to understand and leverage the latest technological advancements.
• Proven track record in sales and consultancy, with demonstrated success in driving business growth within a technology-driven environment.
• Ability to translate client business objectives into innovative technology solutions that add real value.
• Strong project management and resource planning skills, with hands-on experience working in multi-cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels, and experienced in negotiation and solution-selling.
• Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and deliver results.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
