In this role, you will be responsible for managing Promotions activities, to ensure and deliver on the section’s mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures.
You will be responsible:
Contributing to the design and implementation of the department’s strategy and roadmap by providing function-specific inputs
Establishing and implement the section’s operational plans in support of the department’s overall strategic plan and KPIs
Preparing the Trade Marketing Section's annual budget and participate in the Department’s budgeting cycle and process
Utilizing and managing Promotion unit’s budget effectively, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
Investigating and proposing implementing strategies that result in a positive financial impact for STA and mitigate financial and operational risks
Developing and executing comprehensive promotional, grassroots, group sales, and venue marketing plans to achieve individual market objectives
Executing product promotion plans for the region including consumer and trade with localization to the market level
Developing a Product Promotion calendar covering each region at the appropriate time with the appropriate activity
Coordinating the production and deployment of marketing and creative assets for use in market campaigns
Researching prospective partners in local markets to identify opportunities to enhance brand affinity and drive purchase/engagement
Maintaining relationships with key product owners & stakeholders
Coordinating with other departments to integrate product promotions with seasonal campaigns
Liaising with the media buying unit in Marketing CoE for media plans regarding promotions
Supporting in reviewing external trends and competitor actions to identify regional promotion opportunities
Proposing improvements to the Trade Marketing Department’s policies, and ensuring the implementation of procedures and controls across all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results
Monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Stimulating subordinates and contributing to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in the business environment, cost reduction, and productivity improvement
Managing, guiding, and assisting direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
Participating in identifying and recruiting key talent for Promotion unit
Promoting a high-performance working environment embracing STA’s values
Supporting peers across the organization when needed to perform their duties
Performing any other activities as and when required
You will need:
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent is preferred
Not less than 6 years of experience in Promotions, Marketing or other relevant field
