• Motor Overhaul: Proficiency in dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and rewinding various types of electric motors. This includes ensuring that all motors are refurbished to meet operational standards and safety regulations.
• Pump Services and Refurbishment: Handling different types of pumps such as centrifugal, progressive cavity, and positive displacement pumps. The manager is responsible for overseeing the complete refurbishment process from assessment to testing.
• Dynamic Balancing: Conducting dynamic balancing of rotating equipment to reduce vibration and ensure smooth operation.
• Transformer Refurbishment: Although not the primary focus, familiarity with transformer refurbishment adds value to this role, suggesting an ability to oversee or advise on such tasks when necessary.
An Electrical Engineering degree or a similar qualification.
Candidates must have more than 5 years of experience, be South African-based, and currently working in GCC countries within the industrial, manufacturing, or engineering workshop. Expertise in electrical and mechanical equipment is required, along with the ability to relocate to Qatar immediately.
