Web Developer & Designer

The Web Developer & Designer will be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress websites using WooCommerce, customizing themes and plugins, and ensuring that websites are responsive and work well across different devices and browsers. This role requires a strong combination of development and design skills to create attractive and functional websites. The Web Developer & Designer will collaborate closely with designers and other team members to meet client needs and achieve project goals.

Website Development:

• Build and maintain WordPress websites using WooCommerce.
• Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.

Customization and Optimization:

• Ensure that all websites are fully functional and optimized for performance.
• Customize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance website functionality and design.

Responsive Design:

• Implement responsive design techniques to ensure websites work well on various devices and browsers.
• Test and debug websites to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Collaboration and Design:

• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
• Provide input and recommendations on design elements and user experience improvements.

Content Management:

• Manage and update website content as needed, ensuring it aligns with brand standards and client needs.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular testing and maintenance of websites to identify and resolve any issues.
• Ensure websites are secure and up to date with the latest web standards and technologies.

Project Management:

• Work with project managers to ensure timely completion of web development projects.
• Provide regular updates on project status and progress to Department Head.

Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to clients and internal team members on website management and updates.
• Create and maintain documentation for website functionality and maintenance procedures.
