Job Title: National Team Doctor (Under-23 Team)
Role Purpose: To provide comprehensive world-class medical care for the Under-23 players of the Qatar National Football Team and provide daily support to the First Team.
Reports To: TheFirst Team Doctor and Medical Director of the National Teams Medical Services Unit
· 7 to 10 years of experience in Elite Football-This should mean the top European Leagues, clubs competing regularly in European, South American or Asian Continental Championships or those working in International Football.
· Experience with First Team and in youth player care
· Expert knowledge of trauma, musculoskeletal injuries, and medical conditions affecting football players
· Fundamental knowledge of emergency care regarding sporting events
· Post-graduate degree or diploma in Sports Medicine (preferably a Master’s degree)
· Emergency Pitch side qualification
· Eligible to obtain Physician license from Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP)
· Specialty Board registration (preferable)
