Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar LLC 

Telecom/IT technician

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure for telecom and IT systems.
Manage and support telephony systems for effective communication.
Maintain and optimize data networks (LAN/WAN/WiFi) for seamless connectivity.
Ensure the functionality and security of CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.

Maintain radio communication systems, including:
Radio Links
VHF Radio PMR
VHF Marine Communication Systems

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Work closely with other technical teams to support overall operational efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in telecom and IT infrastructure maintenance.

Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in telecom, IT, and data maintenance, particularly in onshore and offshore projects.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good level of computer literacy personal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
