Technology Specialist - Treasury Management System (Kondor) -SME


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Specialist with expertise in Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and specifically in Kondor to join our IT team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation of Kondor, a leading treasury management system, and ensure its effective integration within our organization. The resource should be Techno-Functional Specialist that will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, leveraging your knowledge of both treasury management processes and the Kondor system.


Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams, to gather and analyze business requirements for the Kondor implementation.
  2. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for configuring and customizing Kondor to meet organizational needs.
  3. Perform system configuration, customization, and development tasks within Kondor, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  4. Conduct end-to-end system testing, including test case preparation, execution, and defect resolution, to ensure the quality and integrity of the Kondor implementation.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to business users during the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase, assisting with issue resolution and ensuring successful user adoption.
  6. Collaborate with IT teams to manage data integration, interface development, and data migration activities between Kondor and other systems.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials, to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer and smooth system operation.
  8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in treasury management systems, Kondor functionality, and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance the Kondor implementation and support ongoing system optimization efforts.
  9. Assist with post-implementation support, troubleshooting system issues, and providing timely resolution to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
  10. Coordinate with vendor and functional support provider for project issues and support.

المهارات

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in TMS system implementation preferably Kondor.
  3. Strong experience in implementing and supporting Treasury Management Systems, with specific expertise in Kondor.
  4. Solid understanding of treasury management processes, financial instruments, and risk management concepts.
  5. Demonstrated experience in configuring and customizing Kondor especially the Back Office module and its integration with the core banking system.
  6. Experience with Kondor workflow design, trade validation, and market data integration.
  7. Knowledge of SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write complex queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  8. Middleware knowledge of MQ and TIBCO.
  9. Knowledge of TMS integration with trading platforms including Bloomberg, SWITFT, Markitwire, and core banking system.
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  11. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Proven track record of successful Kondor implementations, including full project lifecycle experience from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
  13. Experience with treasury management activities, such as cash management, liquidity management, foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives, and product knowledge of FX, MM, Repos, Fixed Income, Equities/Funds, IRS/CIRS, and FX Options.
