Technician

Key Accountabilities: 

• Perform maintenance and repairs of equipment. 
• Diagnose and repair various systems on construction and heavy equipment using mechanical and electronic special tools. 
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in the equipment, recommend parts, and carry out repairs. 
• Perform routine maintenance services, check and adjust as necessary, and maintain related fluid levels. 
• Keep special tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition. 
• Assist and train lower-level staff in mechanical repair techniques. 
• Perform additional related work as assigned. 
• Inspect machines in detail and troubleshoot machine systems. 
• Write technical reports on failures for internal or customer presentation. 
• Use repair manuals to diagnose and repair machine problems. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician.
• Relevant certification or technical diploma in mechanics or a related field
• Valid Driving License
• Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team
