Responsible as the primary / focal point of contact for all health centre end user communications, handling their escalations related to consumables shortage /quality concerns etc., storekeeper coordination’s & ensuring seamless supply chain operations in the health centre stores.
Provide management with periodic reports and requested information, such as consumption reports for health centres and central warehouses.
Monitors calculate and update min-max for items based on trend analysis for all individual health centre stores.
Maintain tracking sheets for short allocation and follow up with the planning team for procurement status.
The consultant is responsible for issuing out nearest expiry (First Expiry First Out) on an ad-hoc distribution plan.
Obtain clarifications from end-users and highlight to the managers concerned about any abnormal consumption found monthly.
Coordinate with end-users for recovery of overstocked items, if required.
Manage all end-user escalations in the Risk and Incident Management portal and promptly reply to them.
Advise on Inter-Organizational transfers between health centre stores based on consumption and stock availability in case of emergency.
Responsible for Short-expiry items tracking and stock rotation between health centre stores and central warehouse.
Responsible for tracking ‘Item Ageing’ and advising health centre stores on inventory shuffling.
Prepare & monitor the back orders on daily basis for all health centres & ensure the fulfilment of pending Internal Requisitions. In case the item is unavailable in central warehouse, then inform the lead planner well ahead to initiate the procurement plan.
Identify current and potential product shortages, develop and execute recovery, and advise stakeholders on status reports and recovery plans.
Support different stakeholders for Annual stock count in PHCC stores and Central Warehouse.
Support in the preparation of department policies & procedures to enhance operational efficiency & compliance.
Prepare the departmental KPIs on a periodic basis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, finance, or any equivalent professional discipline.
Minimum 8 years of supply chain management experience, of which 4 years of similar experience in inventory management, purchase, store management, operational experience etc is required within the government sector in healthcare entities in Qatar.
The consultant is expected to have minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience of Oracle ERP & basic knowledge of WMS.
Mandatory Excel skills for reporting & analysing.
The incumbent should understand the end-to-end SCM business processes and be able to handle the operations daily.
