Job Description
Cleaning all food-service utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen food-preparation tools either by hand or using an industrial dishwasher Sort and stack dishes and glasses Sort, polish, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner Ensure proper use of all personal protective equipment when using chemicals and that all chemicals are properly stored and organized Deep cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment Sweep and mop of all kitchen floors throughout shift Empty kitchen and stewarding garbage, recycling, and compost bins Maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas in accordance with the Alberta Health Code and Hotel Standards
Qualifications
Comprehension of written and spoken English Previous hotel or stewarding experience an asset Able to meet the physical demands of the position High attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment Steward Doha, Qatar * Full-time
