Receive and execute satellite booking requests from News editors, Interview and Program producers & coordinating with field crew & bureaus to ease flow of incoming news footage
Decide on the best route possible for news stories, interviews or live location feeds through satellite/fiber optic network / IP Network.
Deploy SNG and ENG crews & book broadcast facilities worldwide as and when required.
Log all transmissions ( Live, pre rec, Bgan, tape etc.) in scheduling system, entering onsite coordination information, technical specifications and costs.
Communicate with other network satellite desks to optimize usage of resources.
Communicate with News-desk, MCR, Ingest on any transmission changes & cost update.
Trouble shoot in case of extension, cancellation, transmission failure.
Coms workflow for AJA and AJM only , managing all OS with MCR, connecting IFB & clearing to Director.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Media related field
At least 3 years of professional experience in related field.
