  1. Site Management:

  • Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with OSHA standards or local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or risks.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to them.
  1. Supervision of Workers:
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate on-site workers, including laborers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the quality of the work being performed.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues between workers to maintain a productive work environment.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Ensure that work is being completed to the required standards, following blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Inspect the quality of construction work at different stages of the project.
  • Work with engineers or project managers to rectify any construction-related issues.
  1. Material and Equipment Management:
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels and request materials as needed to avoid project delays.
  • Oversee the use of equipment to ensure that they are properly maintained and used safely.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents.
  • Provide regular reports to the project manager or senior supervisor about the project’s progress.
  • Complete daily logs, time sheets, and material usage reports.
  1. Coordination with Stakeholders:
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure proper communication.
  • Address any concerns or questions from clients, contractors, or other personnel.
  1. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
  • Identify and resolve issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
  • Make adjustments to schedules, resources, or methods to keep the project on track.
  1. Compliance:
  • Ensure that the site complies with legal requirements, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation for inspections by regulatory agencies.


المهارات

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with workers and stakeholders.

Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and in all weather conditions.
