SWANSEA SURVEYS at present, is looking for any European national Land Surveyor for our newly award project based in QATAR. Applicant must be a result driven, highly motivated, detail-oriented individual; a team player & can handle a team if the need arises. Can assist the staff in the performance of collection of data, elevation, measurements, calculation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.
•The prompt and accurate setting-out of curtain-walling
•As-Built Surveys of concrete, steel, panels
•Transference of datum levels
•Displaying findings on AutoCAD drawings
•Producing written reports based on findings.
•Additionally, you will be accountable for reviewing and interpreting drawings
•Maintaining progress against a program
•Resolving technical issues
•QA of surveying works on site and upkeep of site diary.
•It is essential that you have extensive experience in setting-out to a low tolerance (1-2mm) and that you have extensive knowledge of Leica Total Stations, Traverse kit, Dumpy level, ZL Optical Plummet, lasers and AutoCAD.
•It is preferable, but not essential that you have access to your own equipment
•Diploma in Land Surveying, Bachelor’s degree In Geodetic Engineering or Equivalent
•4 to 5 experience in High-Rise building & stadium Experience with Facade Glass, aluminum & Steel structural installation.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD, Total Station (Leica Total Station preferably), GPS
•Undertaking land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners
•Cutting-edge IT skills and confidence with new technology
•Mus be able to do as built, setting up
•Can work with cladding, steel structures and concrete
•preparing survey drawings
•The ability to understand, interpret and presenting data to clients and writing reports
•Must be physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites under all weather conditions and terrain.
•Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to modify personal schedule as required to meet project deadlines and/or client needs.
•Oversee field survey, including on-site management as needed
•Interpret and review engineering plans and drawings
•advising about technical matters and whether construction plans are viable.
•Numeracy and the ability to make mathematical calculations
•Lateral and logical thinking
•Problem solving and analysis
•Attention to detail
•Client management/customer service skills
