Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities comply with the company's quality standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction quality management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for construction projects in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that project activities and deliverables meet quality requirements.
- Review and approve project quality plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters.
- Identify and communicate potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with third-party quality assurance and testing agencies as needed.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to project management and stakeholders.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions on quality management for project teams.
- Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related updates and recommendations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and developments in quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction quality management, preferably in the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, processes, and standards.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality certifications is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
