Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Consumer Insights Senior Research Executive to join our dynamic team. This position will focus on successfully executing customized quantitative research studies for clients based in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire research lifecycle, from questionnaire design and project management to data analysis and basic report writing, including Client communication and meetings, while ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards with support from the Project Manager. Candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure assigned responsibilities are conducted to time and quality expectations
  • Ensure thorough understanding of and compliance to Nielsen’s research processes and workflow
  • Execute day-to-day project execution of quantitative research projects, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee all stages of the research process, including project setup, questionnaire design, link testing, fieldwork, data collection, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal support and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure timely and proactive communication with partner divisions like data processing, data collection, Vendors & Other Nielsen Offices to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Ensure that materials to Ops & other support teams are sent on schedule and thoroughly checked for errors
  • Proactive communications during project lifecycle to managers /clients as appropriate e.g. status report updates, highlighting database issues etc.
  • Write Analysis plan & develop charting templates as well as effectively brief charting & tabulation teams on the project requirements
  • Checking the data tables and charts to spot errors
  • Drafting reports & commentaries (first level for adhocs and final reports for trackers)

Attend regular client meetings – online and face to face, presentations



Qualifications
  • Ideally a university degree in related fields (Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Business Management)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Market Research industry is preferred or other relevant industry
  • Those with strong /good competency in Maths or Statistics will have an added advantage though not necessarily a requirement
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
  • Strong communication skills & visualization skills – interested in storytelling techniques
  • Business acumen and good knowledge of the market dynamics
  • Comfortable working in a digital-enabled environment with fast-paced environments and tight deadlines
  • Comfortable taking Client calls and meetings on their own
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Additional Information
  • The role will be based out of Doha, Qatar where the Client base exists. However, the larger NIQ team and his/her Manager will be based out of UAE. Thus, the candidate needs to be comfortable and confident in:
    • Working virtually / remotely with his Manager and internal team
    • Meeting and communicating with Clients on his/ her own on a very regular basis
  • Talent Acquisition team to assess and ensure that candidate has a stable future with NIQ
