Senior Electrical Engineer (Onshore) - DOH01JR

Key responsibilities Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. A thorough knowledge of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to electrical design for oil and gas facilities. Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.
Requirements: Industry Specific Experience: Must have vast experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects in Onshore projects. Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts. Experience in MV cable sizing based on IEC60287 using CYMECAP will be an added advantage Qatar project experience with knowledge of Kahramaa standards is preferred.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage
