Your Opportunity
Stantecs Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Digitization Expert to work closely with our client in a transformation journey for their Operation and Maintenance Departments with a specific focus on AI and IoT-driven and Innovative digitization technologies.
Your Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Stantec Team in delivering transformational work as part of our Management Consulting Group in Qatar, supporting and advising our client in the development of various programs and services from inception to implementation. The candidate for this position will be working from our client's office in a client-facing position to provide management consulting services to our client. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Researching and using current market trends in digital technologies to transform business processes.
- Assisting the Client in improving business and operational models in line with corporate strategy and vision.
- Using digital tools and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to streamline and automate day-to-day tasks of the Client personnel.
- Develop and draft a digital transformation strategy for the operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation works in line with the Client's corporate strategy and vision.
- Using digitization tools and innovative practices to improve the Client's supply chain and procurement processes for the provision of operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation works of roads, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure.
- Assist the senior management in transitioning the business into digitization and improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and developing new revenue streams.
- Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas where digital technologies can be used to automate and optimize business processes.
- Identify business areas where digital technologies can be used to increase operational efficiencies.
- Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.
- Assisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.
- Assessing and advising on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance.
- Advising program managers with regard to planning, testing, and implementing new programs or systems.
- Identifying and resolving issues and problems.
Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.
- Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, and data collection systems, that optimize efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to update and maintain databases
- Collaborate with stakeholders and understand the requirements to develop key performance indicators and translate them into formulas in MS Excel
- Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
- Work with management to prioritize business information needs
- Provide guidance and coach team members in data analytics
- Present and convince stakeholders of the analysis conducted
- Create proposals for data analysis improvements

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or business management ďťżfrom a Western Country would be preferred
- 15 + years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a digitization expert or in a similar role in line with the role responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of multiple databases and software systems.
- Ability to collect and analyze complex sets of data.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
