As Senior Corporate Planning Analyst – Interline and Special Prorate Agreements, you will play an essential role in the management and optimization of Qatar Airways’ partnerships portfolio. The role includes working within a complex data environment on tasks that will involve research and analysis of market and network opportunities, to support informed decision-making within Corporate Planning on Qatar Airways’ Airline Partnership strategy. The role also includes working with cross functional departments within the company as well as with interline partner airlines around the world, on day-to-day functions and ad-hoc tasks, as required.
This role falls under Airline Partnership within Corporate Planning.
Key accountabilities:
·Partnership Management and Development
oUnlock value from existing or new interline partnerships, including opportunity identification, business case development and approval, project implementation and ongoing value creation
oReview and amend interline partnership commercials by ensuring all agreements, policies and procedures with partners are updated and calibrated to optimize QR revenue share
oSupport the promotion, management and optimization of all interline partnerships and initiatives across the company, both with internal and external stakeholders
oAnalyse partner performance & KPIs and identify incremental benefits to enhance QR’s network reach and strategic positioning
oEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements at all times
oManage ad-hoc requests relating to interline partners both within Corporate Planning and and externally
·Stakeholder Management
oBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholder teams as well as interline partners.
oCoordinate all interline related activities effectively with RM Pricing, Tariffs and Revenue Accounts to ensure that QR interline fares are loaded and sellable.
oWork closely with QR sales offices worldwide, to understand their requirements for interline / SPA partners for various markets.
oEnsure internal compliance and endorsement of partnership contracts with Revenue Accounting, Revenue Management, Legal and Finance.
oProvide regular updates and reports to senior management on interline partnership performance.
·Data Analysis
oPerform regular analysis with both internal flown data and industry data to identify opportunity and trends.
oParticipate in development of partnership KPI metrics and tracking mechanisms.
oSupport preparation and monitoring of annual Partnerships targets.

Qualifications and Experience - Internal
·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
·Minimum 3-5 year of job-related experience with at least 3 years in managing Interline and Special Prorate agreements, with proven commercial aviation acumen
·Knowledge of International through fares, markets and traffic flow patterns.
·In-depth knowledge on Proration and usage of IATA prorate manual.
·Broad knowledge of Fares Pricing & Ticketing Rules.
·Knowledge of Interline billings and Revenue Accounting procedures
·Strong knowledge of principles of interline and codeshare
