Description
As Senior Corporate Planning Analyst, you will be working within the Corporate Planning (CP) team, you will be tasked with jointly developing medium and long-term strategic initiatives, working on day-to-day functions and ad-hoc tasks. The Senior Analyst will gather/validate data or other information, both internally within CP and between departments. Within a complex data environment, tasks will involve a combination of sound analytic processing and market research to support informed decision-making within CP. You will formulate recommendations to management, steer decision making and represent CP on departmental cross-function initiatives.
This role falls under Scheduling and key accountabilities are:
·Evaluate and develop short and long terms schedules and/or business cases for new or existingroutes through comprehensive detailed analysis
·Provide recommendations to maximise or enhance profitability by optimising the allocation ofcapacity throughout the network eg. new destinations, frequency changes and structural changes(aircraft, retime, tags, triangles etc.)
·Support capacity changes through coordination with Operational Departments, Airports and Slot Coordinators
·Expert use of Schedule Planning tools which comprises:
oOptimising fleet deployment on a monthly basis using a fleet assigner tool
oMaintaining slots and ensure no loss of slots on 80/20 rule using a slot manager tool
oImproving the accuracy of the model’s data inputs through continuous fine-tuning
·Initiate and develop reports and tools to improve CP decision-making
·Codeshare Management - testing and implementation of the new codeshare arrangement and ensuring schedule synchronisation of marketing and operating codeshares with partner carriers
·Obtains seasonal and ad-hoc Landing approvals for all QR destinations
·Coordinates with Technical departments for all Heavy and Light Maintenance
·Schedule Integrity – ensure and maintain integrity of QR schedules both on internal and external
·systems including GDS
·Develop into a core subject matter expert within Scheduling
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
·Minimum 2 years of job related experience with comprehensive understanding of commercial aviation economics, strategic planning and business management
·Knowledge of analysis and modelling techniques is desired
·Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data
·Ability to work in a multi-cultural team and work under pressure and tight deadlines
