Part A: Job Specification
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this job is to manage and enhance SAP security through comprehensive role design, administration, and analysis.
This includes preparing Conceptual Design/Blueprint documents and technical specifications for new security requirements, conducting various testing phases such as Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Quality Assurance, and providing post go-live support. The role also involves troubleshooting SAP security issues, supporting end users, and ensuring compliance with critical access restrictions and audit requirements.
Additionally, the job supports SAP security across different project stages, including blueprint, QA, and go-live, as well as during upgrades, and addresses authorization business requirements for various SAP modules and products
Key Job Accountabilities - I
- SAP role design, administration, and analysis
- Prepare Conceptual Design/Blueprint documents and technical specifications for new Security requirements.
- Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Quality Assurance testing including preparation of test scripts, resolve testing issues, coordinate User Acceptance testing, and provide post go-live support.
- SAP security troubleshooting and end user support
- Support of SAP security in different projects stages (blueprint, QA, Go- live) and upgrades.
- Support on critical access restrictions and audit compliance requirement for tables and reports.
- Support in authorization business requirements for different SAP modules and different SAP products.
Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirement Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline.
- 8 years of IT experience
Knowledge and/or Experience - I
- Experience in Access and Authorization of new SAP products such as S/4 HANA, BW4HANA, Portal, BPC, Fiori, IAG, SAC, BTP, CPI, SF, SF-EC, SF-WPS etc.
- Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD), SAP IAS, IPS, EnableNow, Task Center etc.
- Experience in HANA Database roles, privileges and schemas using HANA studio.
- Experience in role design, development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for on-prem and Cloud based systems.
- Experience in managing Segregation of Duties (SOD) Risks, Mitigation controls and monitoring sensitive access and elevated privileges.
- Strong knowledge/experience of user exits / customer enhancements, BADI, LSMW & designing of reports, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of S/4HANA and system transformation including business process re-engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well on cross functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
- Must have a 'Can-do' attitude and be keen to explore new technology.
