الوصف الوظيفي

  • Understand the operations of the drainage networks
  • Manage and monitor drainage network operations 24/7 based on the planned operations
  • Monitor the daily operation and the performance of the SCADA Master Station System.
  • Monitor the SCADA Master Station System communication system performance and availabilities.
  • Monitor and manage any new SCADA projects and upgrading work activities in the SCADA Master Station and Pumping Stations.
  • Perform configuration works in the SCADA Master Station which includes configuring I/O drivers, I/Os mapping arrangement, and HMI engineering work.
  • Coordinate SCADA site works which include RTUs and PLC programming works, SCADA control relay wiring, and modification works.
  • Monitor and manage SCADA-related testing and commissioning work which includes site inspection, witness acceptance test, and works conformance with job specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify SCADA-related site issues.
  • Review SCADA documentation submitted to the SCADA unit.
  • Monitor and manage the Pumping Station Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work schedules and work progress.
  • Checking and verifying the PM’s and CM’s reports submitted by the appointed SCADA maintenance contractor.
  • Collaborate with the Catchment Zone engineers for the PMs, CMs, and Pumping Station Shutdown works/activities.
  • Arrange and manage site surveying works for new Pumping Stations to be added to the SCADA Master station.
  • Prepare SCADA site survey work report and SCADA unit monthly performance report.
  • Prepare annual budget. Order new SCADA spare parts as per requirement and carry out design and material reviews to ensure compliance with relevant standards, project specifications, and DNO&M requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the movement of the SCADA spare parts from the warehouse and the SCADA store.
  • Perform analytics on network operations and provide information on the operating condition of the pumping stations, and drainage water treatment plants; feed data to the concerned zonal sections/ maintenance planning teams
  • Ensure that incidents/emergencies are reported to the primary maintenance teams.
  • Experience in Monitoring, supporting, and evolving the SCADA System in the Drainage Network Management Systems (DNMS).

المهارات

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; candidates with education obtained from North America, Western Europe, and Australia will be preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience preferably in the water/wastewater management industry.
  • Knowledge of Sewer and TSE networks including pump stations and treatment facilities
  • Extensive knowledge of leading practices in drainage network operations and maintenance
  • Extensive experience in Programming and Commissioning of SCADA Systems.
