RP STR Superintendent (JO019944) 

We are looking for an RP Structural Superintendent for one of our clients with the following details: 

Start date: 01-OCT-2024

End Date: 31-AUG-2026

Location: Doha / India / Oman

Work status: Resident, Single

 ACTIVITIES 

• To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities.
• To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws, and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices.
• To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality.
• During fabrication and pre-commissioning phases, the job holder shall:
  • Review the relevant Contractor's ITP's and procedures (in coordination with structural activities),
  • Monitor and control the implementation on site of the approved drawings and plans, surveillance plans, Inspection and test plans.
  • Carry out fit-up inspection, visual inspections of welding process.
  • Monitor and control CTR’s daily / weekly progress report for pre-fabrication, assembly, erection, post erection activities.
  • To organize and coordinate structural supervisor’s daily tasks and activities.
  • Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued.
  • Stop & report immediately any anomaly or non-conformity to Construction Head.
  • Attend and participate when requested, to the various construction meetings, and provide support to Construction Head in its various reviews.
  • Participate to construction, HSE or QAQC specific audits or visits; Provide regular inspection & activity reports.
  • Monitor raw materials delivery.
  • Responsible for monitoring contractor’s labor resources in accordance with approved mobilization plan and report to Construction Head
  • Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report and lesson learn.
  • Drive punch list close out in a timely fashion
• Ensure the correct implementation of the Permit to Work system.
• If required by management, the job holder will have to work during weekends and/or night shift during critical activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in structural fabrication field of oil & gas industry
• BS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry experience. 
• Extensive knowledge of international codes/standards (AISC, API, ASME, AWS, ISO)
• Good knowledge of COMPANY Standards
• Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Capable of proposing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
• Be skilled in using computer programs for MS Tools and e-mail communications.
• Language: Fluent English
