We are looking for a RP Site Lifting Specialist for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Doha / Oman
Work status: Resident, Single
ACTIVITIES
To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities.
To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices,
To provide expertise in daily handling and lifting activities including categorization of lifts
To implement risk assessment, hazard identification and JSA.
To perform the technical review of lifting operations and their criticality assessment
Review all documents linked to cranes certification (load test, wire certificates, hook blocks,)
Review crane operator certification
Review tagging/color code of all CTR lifting equipment (sling, shackles, etc.)
To confirm CTR’s selection of lifting equipment as per activities.
To attend Tool Box Talks and post-job debriefing meetings including assessment of completed jobs
To review lifting plans (non-critical and critical lifting)
To Promote safe handling and lifting operation referring COMPANY HSE policy and international standard, review engineering calculation for complex and complicated lifts
To review complicated and complex lift plan and make sure all preparatory works completed successfully prior to the lifting operation.
To provide technical advice to CPY teams.
To be involved in audits of the lifting operations.
Ensure the correct implementation of the Permit to Work system.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering and construction
Minimum 10 years in the lifting & handling industry at supervisory level.
Following OPITO certifications mandatory:
LCP (LOLER Competent Person)
Banksman Slinger OPITO Level 3 or 4
Rigger OPITO Level 3 or 4
Rigging Loft Management
NSL LEI-6 Lifting Equipment Inspection
Available for technical missions worldwide
Familiar with TotalEnergies General Specifications, relevant codes(AISC, API, ASME, ASW, ISO)
Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
