Riggers

Job Summary:

The Rigger will be responsible for preparing and aligning the necessary equipment to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely. The individual must have a deep understanding of rigging methods, load calculations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up rigging and lifting equipment such as ropes, pulleys, cranes, and winches to safely move large and heavy materials.
• Inspect rigging equipment before use and ensure that it meets all safety and operational requirements.
• Work closely with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery.
• Signal crane or hoist operators to safely move loads into position.
• Dismantle rigging equipment after job completion and safely store it.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injury or accidents during the lifting process.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and project specifications to ensure proper rigging.
• Perform other related duties as required.
