A great opportunity to join as a Restaurant General Manager i/c of 11 outlets , reports to EAM at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Doha
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
DUTIES
•
To ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified throughout their meal experience
•
To communicate with the Head Chef in order to share information and ensure smooth running of service
•
To respond proactively to guest queries and to ensure appropriate action is taken, followed by effective communication
•
To report and follow up all maintenance defaults effecting efficient and professional delivery of service
•
To ensure service and Back of House areas are kept clean at all times and work will be conducted according to our Health and Safety standards as devised by the Company
•
To handle guest comments and complaints in the appropriate manner and communicate to Management where appropriate
•
To ensure profitability through controlling food and beverage cost, menu pricing, payroll cost and any other costs related to the restaurant
•
To control service of alcoholic beverage as required by Qatar legislation
•
To overlook all aspects of the restaurant reservation process
•
To handle administrative duties i.e. payroll, holidays, rotas in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
•
To ensure service is delivered according to our Company values
•
To attend all internal and hotel meetings required according to meetings schedule
•
To ensure that relevant grooming standards adhered to, both personally and by the team, reflecting a professional image for our guests
Occasional Duties
•
To guide our guests in organising private events
•
To communicate and follow up guest correspondence
•
To conduct revenue and expense forecasts on a regular basis
•
To carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by Senior Management
