The project:
This is an opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art airport project in Doha. Mace has been delivering PMC services on the airport for several years, increasing passenger capacity and improving overall services.

You will ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence.
You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
Assisting the head in the delivery of project management requirements for the projects.
Drafting, reviewing or recommending any project management related documents as required.
Reviewing and ensuring that project management principles are incorporated and applied.
Identifying, developing, and promoting programme and project required project management policies.
Providing progress reports as and when required.
Supervising the planning and implementation of the project.
Facilitating the definition of project scope and goals.
Defining project tasks and resource requirements.
Developing full scale project plans.
Liaising, coordinating, directing, and monitoring the activities of project staff, PM/CM, design consultants and contractors etc.
Liaising with various internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively manage projects.
Managing project budget and project resource allocation.
Reviewing contractors’ payment applications and participate in the timely preparation of monthly payment requisition.
Keeping management informed on progress of project and any critical issues.
Tracking project deliverables.
Attending/chairing at relevant meetings.

You’ll need to have:
Relevant degree qualification in quantity surveying or cost management or equivalent.
Professional membership or working towards i.e. APM, IM or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Subject expert experience in key IM software including Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint, etc.
User Revit and Solibri.
Model assurance.
Information management experience across a number of projects and programmes.
Information architecture.
Naming, numbering, filing conventions, ISO19650.
You’ll also have:
Professional membership i.e., MRICS, CIOB, APM, PMP, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Excellent communication skills.
Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
