Job Description

Full-time position reporting to the Head of Contract and Procurement   


The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating procurement activities within the organization, ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This role includes managing supplier relationships, supporting contract negotiation, and monitoring procurement performance to meet organizational needs.


Key Responsibilities 


Procurement process management


  • Support the full procurement cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) and obtaining quotes;
  • Review and process purchasing requests from multiple departments;
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding and creation in SAP;
  • Monitor specific payment terms and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices;
  • Provide administrative and technical support to teams, including document management and SAP navigation for internal teams;

Supplier contract management


  • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with contractual terms;  
  • Proactively manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations;
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure alignment with organizational needs and legal standards;

Supplier relationship management


  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery;
  • Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluation and audits to ensure compliance with terms and expectations;
  • Address and resolve supplier issues, disputes, and performance-related concerns;

Budgeting and reporting


  • Assist in budget planning related to procurement activities;  
  • Prepare reports and analyze procurement and contract data, including spend analysis, savings, and contract compliance;
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve procurement efficiency and cost savings.  

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience, preferably in procurement
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Pack Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP software
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
  • Solid negotiation and persuasion skills preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize stakeholder needs effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and departments
  • Strong initiative and proactive attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Proven problem-solving capacity, with the ability to anticipate challenges, proactively identify potential issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods and effectively manage pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French; fluency in Arabic is an asset
  • Prior experience in Qatar or GCC preferred
