We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Job responsibilities:All design engineering activities, project management skills, technical execution and completion of assigned engineering tasksAssisting the project engineers in the co-ordination and preparation of input into the contract documents for each discipline area, including design criteria, scope of work, procedures and design approach.Leading the team of pipeline engineers for the assigned project.Liaison and co-ordination with other engineers and discipline groups on the contract to effect timely production of deliverables.Technical writing activities, in particular, production of technical reports and proceduresProvide interpretation and verification of design & engineeringFacilitate and administer interdisciplinary coordinationProviding proposal inputs for the new jobs under bidding stage.Setting high performance standards for the team of engineers working on the assigned project. Specific accountabilities:Experience in preparation of Pipeline Design documents independently and complete the design activities within specified schedule & budget.Self motivated, shall work independently leading the team of engineers & designers for the project with effective communication with Project Managers/PEMs and Discipline Manager.Pro-active, should be able to guide Engineers & Designers on technical and non-technical issues towards effective solutions.Capable of executing multiple tasks and delivering it efficiently within specified schedule. Pipeline route selection, to optimise costs of new pipelines.oPipeline sizing and design to meet performance criteria.oCost estimating for pipelines and facilities.oProviding pipeline construction support.oUp to date knowledge and experience in onshore pipeline design codes for oil and gas industryQuality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas Business Unit.Safety – Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.#LI-Onsite Industry Specific Experience:Must have vast pipeline design engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry, offshore and onshore or related petrochemicals industry.Extensive experience in Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design of Oil and Gas pipelines.Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent Degree in Mechanical / Pipeline EngineeringProfessional registration is preferredAffiliation to engineers’ association/institute bodies shall add additional advantageIT / Systems Skills:Computer skills particularly in the use of CEASER package for stress analysis and knowledge of the onshore pipeline design calculations for wall thickness, buoyancy, upheavel buckling, etc. in Excel/ Math Cad.People & Other Skills:Proven leadership skillsGood communication skills (written and verbal)Must be accustomed to leading teams to deliver on time and within budgetShould be able to work largely independently with minimal supervision from Group Head.Moving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
