The Plaza Doha, LXR Hotel & Resorts location Doha, Ad Dawḩah, Qatar category Hotel Full-time HOT0BBJO Posted: Jan 25th 2025 JOB DESCRIPTION An Operations Manager is responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel so Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets.
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the hotel to ensure that Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Collaborate with the General Manager to manage key property initiatives, including customer service, refurbishment, and operational improvements. Assist in developing realistic and strategic hotel budgets and short- and long-term operational goals. Support the leadership and development of Heads of Department and team members to ensure performance targets are met and exceeded. Respond to company audits and ensure continuous improvement is achieved in operational areas. Oversee and coordinate service delivery across operational departments to ensure guest expectations are consistently exceeded. Ensure compliance with hotel and company Service Standards and strive to exceed them. Monitor operational costs and regularly analyse results to identify problem areas and implement solutions. Foster career growth within the hotel by developing Heads of Department and planning for succession. Address Guest feedback effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team.
An Operations Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent. Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Food and Beverage or Rooms Management. Proven experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results. Solid knowledge of the hotel, leisure, or service sector. Leadership skills to motivate and manage teams to achieve high performance and exceed targets. Accountability and resilience. Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with hotel property management systems. Previous experience in a similar role or environment.
