We are looking for JD Edwards Project Manager- Billing & Collection for our client, one of the largest utilities and services client in Qatar


Below are the role requirements

Work Location – Doha Qatar

Role : Full time on employment visa ( for contract duration of minimum 3 years )

Tax Free Salary : Based on experience and market standard up to QAR 20 K PM

Experience : More than 6 years of experience in JD Edwards Project Management for accounting & finance, experience in utilities is an added advantage. Mastery of written and spoken English and Arabic


The role involves organizing and directing secondees' work, reviewing customer information, and supporting productivity initiatives for the Customer Service Department (CSD). It includes liaising with business units to verify accounting data, advising the CSD Manager on operational performance, and providing training to new accountants. Additionally, the role entails conducting financial data reviews, overseeing monthly closing activities, ensuring payment collection, and maintaining accurate AR databases through cooperation with related departments. Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with professional certification, minimum 12yrs of experience in the same field.


Summary Description: Implement the strategy of billing & collection set by the Customer Service Department Manager.


Responsibilities:

• Organize and direct the work of secondees professionally.

• Review customer information breakdowns.

• Support and manage initiatives to enhance CSD productivity.

• Liaise periodically with business units to review and verify accounting data.

• Advise the CSD Manager on operational performance and report to the executive team.

• Provide support, training, and information to new CSD accountants/consultants.

• Conduct financial data reviews to ensure reliability.

• Oversee monthly accounting closing activities.

• Ensure monitoring and collection of payments.

• Review and advise on customer accounts.

• Review policies and recommend enhancements to improve services.

• Prepare management and ad hoc reports.

• Cooperate with related departments to maintain an accurate AR database.

• Lead development activities and communicate requirements to concerned departments.


Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

• Evidence of Continued Professional Development

• Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs.

• Well organized and leadership skills, Attention to detail and ability to cope with crises and difficult situations.

• Mastery of written and spoken English and Arabic.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Team leader player.
