Supervising and leading a team of millwrights in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment in industrial or manufacturing settings
Ensuring all mechanical work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications
Planning and scheduling millwright activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time
Coordinating with other departments and project managers to ensure proper mechanical support for ongoing operations
Reviewing technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs of equipment
Conducting regular inspections and assessments of machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement
Monitoring work progress and providing on-site supervision to ensure the quality of work and adherence to safety protocols
Managing the maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, compressors, and other industrial equipment
Preparing reports on the status of ongoing projects, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance
Providing training and mentorship to junior millwrights, ensuring they follow safety protocols and quality standards
Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training in millwright work or mechanical fitting preferred)
Certification in millwright supervision or mechanical engineering is a plus
Proven experience in a supervisory role, overseeing millwrights or similar mechanical teams
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery installation, and maintenance

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
