An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways Talent Acquisition Team as Manager Talent Acquisition. This role is expected to be aligned with a Qatar Airways Group Function(s) or Subsidiary, with ultimate accountability in ensuring that they have the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute their business plans. Provide expert recruitment advice, workforce planning, decision making support, market intelligence and insight. Act as a single point of contact for all Talent Acquisition within their perimeter, covering all headcount types and ensuring the right hiring decisions are made for the right reasons. Define the recruitment strategy for the Function(s) / Subsidiary and is accountable for delivering it, driving continuous improvement in key performance indicators (quality, speed and cost of hiring). 
Your duties would include:

Own the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle for assigned Function(s) / Subsidiary, from requirements definition, sourcing, selection through to overseeing onboarding.
Create, present and own strategic improvement plans for the assigned Function(s) / Subsidiary based on customer feedback, market intelligence, business needs and recruitment knowledge.
Provide market data and analysis to aid the business with annual long- and medium-term workforce planning processes.
Champion the new 'search' based Talent Acquisition process, clearly define Hiring Managers' roles and set performance expectations.
Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the head-hunting process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates.
Promote best practice selection using the selection framework, coaching hiring managers where necessary and taking ultimate responsibility for high quality hiring decisions and meeting quality of hire metrics.
Ultimately accountable for ensuring the delivery of output metrics covering: new hire attrition rates (First 12 months), quality of hire, target start dates and customer satisfaction for all hires for assigned Function(s) / Subsidiary.
Manage interfaces with the rest of the Talent Acquisition Delivery and Executive Talent Acquisition and Sourcing to ensure recruitment outcomes and quality of hire, time to hire and cost of hire standards are met
With the support of the Executive Talent Acquisition Team, deliver a small number (c.15 unique roles at any one time) of senior positions. Work collaboratively with the Executive Talent Acquisition Team to ensure they are fully briefed on requirements; validate and respond to long listed candidates promptly and fully.
Champion compliance with Qatar Airways Group policies and procedures throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems (e.g. ATS) to consistent standards across the team.

QualificationsWe are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience
Proven success at developing, mentoring and managing high performing teams.
A consummate leader and business partner.
Will have spent a key portion of career in an Executive Search firm or Professional Recruitment Agency at Consultant level or higher.
Able to positively influence at all levels of an organization up to VP & C level, and to develop valued relationships with Senior Executives, Managers and Candidates alike
Strong track record as a people manager. Able to balance the needs of personal delivery of requisitions with building, motivating, coaching and developing a team
Politically savvy, able to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of competing priorities and objectives
Strong analytic skills, fluent in the development and use of metrics
Must have in-house corporate resourcing or wider resourcing experience
Able to demonstrate positive stakeholder engagement across different function.
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
